Choose from two AARP MedicareRx Plans.
There are two AARP MedicareRx Plans available. Pick the onethat may best fit your needs.
• AARP MedicareRx Preferred (PDP)
This plan is a good value with robust drug coverage. The drug list includes nearly all generic drugs covered by MedicarePart D and most commonly used brand name drugs
• AARP MedicareRx Enhanced (PDP)1
This plan has more extensive drug coverage. The drug listincludes more than 95% of the drugs covered by MedicarePart D. Plus, there’s additional coverage for Tier 1 and Tier 2drugs in the coverage gap
Both plans provide:• $0 annual deductible. You could start saving with yourfirst prescription
• Pharmacy Saver™ program. Offers hundreds of generic drugsfor only $2 a prescription
• Simple and predictable copays. You pay a preset amount foreach prescription, often as low as $4
• 65,000 + network pharmacies nationwide. Our networkpharmacy locations include national chains, regional and localchains, and independent neighborhood pharmacies
• National coverage goes where you go. Available in all50 states, the District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories
• Preferred Mail Service Pharmacy. Save even more on yourmedications and get them delivered right to your mailbox
• Pay the lowest price possible. During the initial coverageperiod, you pay the plan’s discounted drug costs, retailprice or the plan’s copay, whichever is lowest when you fillyour prescription
Three easy ways to pay your premium.Depending on your payment situation, you could choose to havepremiums automatically deducted from your Social Security benefitcheck, your checking account or your savings account. Couponpayment booklets are also an option.
Changes to the coverage gap.For people who normally would have paid full price for drugsin the coverage gap, help is available this year. Members ofa Medicare Part D plan will pay 50% of the price (plus thedispensing fee) for brand name drugs and 86% of the price ofgeneric drugs in the gap. And remember, the Enhanced planprovides additional coverage for Tier 1 and Tier 2 drugs in thecoverage gap.
